The church was founded in 1185 by the Knights Templar, and like all their churches is round in imitation of the Church of the Holy Sepulchre in Jerusalem. It now serves the Inns of Court.

The round is beautiful to see. A tremendous amount of history regarding the Templars, Magna Carta, and even the American Bill of Rights.

Lovely little church, well worth a visit although the £5 admission charge was steep I thought cashing in on The Magna Carta.

Check the schedule beforehand so you don't come along just to see the doors closed! Totally worth visiting!
